Attention WAHS Alums of the 50s, 60s, 70s & 80s: Some of us have taken it on ourselves to establish a David and Kathryn Campbell Memorial Scholarship through Windom Dollars for Scholars. Our goal would be to raise $2500 to fund 5 years of honor loans to WAHS graduates preparing for careers in (what else?) mathematics or social sciences education.
If you'd like to add your tax-deductible contribution to this cause, send a check designated "Campbell Memorial" to Windom Dollars for Scholars, c/o Denise Gilbertson, Treasurer, 2884 Country Club Drive, Windom, MN 56101.
Please feel free to direct any questions to me at jfl19@q.com or to saoakman@gmail.com.
THANK YOU!

Class of "68" high to all. Just found this page. I have lived in IL since 82, but my heart is still in Windom. I miss the small town feeling.

Hello everyone. Looks like no one has posted anything here since my last foray into the area. Is anyone reading anything here anymore. The Citizen has been kind enough to put this site back up but it needs to be used - Please

Hello Everyone from all classes.
I took the time to go back and read all of the comments from the Pre 1930 right up to the mid 1960's and I see a lot of comments from people asking others to come on board and say something. I tried posting a couple of years ago for my class (1958) - just to try to get more people to come on board and at least say hello and let others know how they were doing, I unfortunately did not have much luck with the exception of a few that I keep in contact with anyway.
I would like to see the Windom Citizen put together something that would work to get classmates to talk to each other. There are fewer and fewer of us all the time and we should definitely make more attempts to stay in touch with each other. Maybe some kind of a contest that would be written up in the paper that would list the emails being sent for each class - and reminding all of us to do something. I even saw where one of the Windom Classmates went Parasailing at Lake Tahoe when sh

I too would like to thank the Chamber and All Class Reunion Committee for all their work in putting together a great reunion. I couldn't agree more that we should do this again in 5 years.

Thank you Windom Chamber of Commerce, Volunteers, for putting the All Class Reunion together, and the Citizen for keeping us informed. Lucy and I got to see classmates from her class, my class and friends we have not seen in 40 years. Lets do this every 5 years.

I received the sad news, in the note below, from his wife Debbie that our schoolmate John Longstreet passed away on Friday. I had been in close touch with John and knew that he had cancer but this still came as a shock.
John was in our Class of 55 but moved with his family when his father, who was our school superintendent in Windom changed schools after our Junior Year.
Below is a link to the information for his service.
Colonial Wojciechowski Funeral Homes - Niles, IL.
Please pass this on to others who's lives he touched.
